Ever drive by and see a place called Ringer Hut and think to yourself…did they mean Pizza Hut? Well let me answer that question for you, no they did not mean Pizza Hut and yes it is called Ringer Hut.

Ringer Hut is a popular Japanese restaurant in Japan. They are known for their Champon which is a Japanese noodle dish. Next time you see a Ringer Hut, I recommend trying it out but be sure to order their Champon!

Ever hear about a Crème brûlée cart? Don’t be shocked cause it exists!

For this one you have to follow him on twitter and he will twitter his next location. Search for cremebruleecart and follow him.

In this picture, I got a frosted flakes Crème brûlée.

I love the fact that food carts are becoming more and more prevalent in San Francisco now. YUM!

If you are feeling frugal, try the food court next to Galleria Market on El Camino (near Lawrence Expwy). They’ve got a great selection of Korean food for a great price.

It’s been a while since I last posted, but that just means I have lots and lots of pictures of great food to show you all now!

Next time you are in SF on a Saturday morning be sure to go check out the farmers market at the Ferry Building. I got a great pork sandwich from Roli Roti a rotisserie cart that had rolls and rolls of juicy pork meat rotating around the heat.

Are you sweating and dying from heat? Well, let me introduce you to Hawaiian Shaved Ice. By far the best item to purchase on a hot dry day.
But don’t mistaken this for an icy or american-style shaved ice. It’s far superior than that. The ice is fluffy and the flavor is mixed perfectly. However, make sure you put condensed milk on that. It’s what gives it that extra kick to it.
There are two places you can get it in San Jose:
Shuei-Do Manju Shop
Banana Crepe
I recommend to get the Lychee flavor with condensed milk.

Last weekend, I had my first “Seattle Hotdog”. Now, yes it did have cream cheese, but not sour kraut (thank goodness!). Luckily, the cook decided to replace sour kraut with large amounts of Sriracha sauce. YUMMY! I like this variation.
Thanks steve and dan for the introduction!

Porridge -asian version of the oatmeal
Waking up and eating a hot bowl of porridge really makes my day. On my Japan trip, everyday I got to have porridge topped with different kinds of pickled vegetables.
Their porridge was cooked perfectly. It wasn’t too dry and it wasn’t too soupy. The rice grains were small and the stickiness was perfect.

This is a typical vending machine in Japan. It’s got all sorts of beverages that don’t come in a cans. Now I ask, why don’t we have these in America?!!
I hope one day I will be able to buy milk tea from a vending machine while watching some commercials as I wait for my drink to be made.

You should always eat a whole fish. Do you know why? Cause then you’ll get to slurp up its brains and suck on its eyeballs. YUM!
TIP: The best part of the fish is the meat right next to it’s head closest to its eyes.

Did you know Taiwanese people are really into beef noodle soup? When I made a visit to Taiwan last year, there was a beef noodle soup competition outside of Taipei 101. It was great because you get to taste different types of beef noodle soup.
Here is one I got from just a random street vendor. The dish tasted wonderful. I could tell they spent a lot of time on the dish because the broth was rich  in flavor and the beef was tendor.
