If you’re in SF and are in the mood for Korean/Japanese cuisine make sure you try Namu Restuarant. But if you are in SF on a Saturday morning, make sure you go to the Ferry Building farmers market. Namu has a stand there and they sell some pretty awesome food.

I got Korean Tacos and Garlic Chicken Omurice

Other items they have during the farmers market are:

Gamja Fries

Kimchi Fried Rice

Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake)

Asparagus Tempura

Food cart! I love food served in a cart, especially good food. This is a crepe cart and can be found on 546 Howard Street between James Lick Fwy & 1st Street in San Francisco.
You can go there in the morning and get a ham egg and cheese crepe or you can get a chocolate and vanilla ice cream crepe to satisfy your sweet tooth. But the best crepe I’ve ever tasted is the one I had in this picture. It has beef, avocado, cheese, sour cream and peppers - basically a beef taco but in crepe form. Trust me, you have to try it!

Ever hear about a Crème brûlée cart? Don’t be shocked cause it exists!

For this one you have to follow him on twitter and he will twitter his next location. Search for cremebruleecart and follow him.

In this picture, I got a frosted flakes Crème brûlée.

I love the fact that food carts are becoming more and more prevalent in San Francisco now. YUM!

It’s been a while since I last posted, but that just means I have lots and lots of pictures of great food to show you all now!

Next time you are in SF on a Saturday morning be sure to go check out the farmers market at the Ferry Building. I got a great pork sandwich from Roli Roti a rotisserie cart that had rolls and rolls of juicy pork meat rotating around the heat.

Last weekend, I had my first “Seattle Hotdog”. Now, yes it did have cream cheese, but not sour kraut (thank goodness!). Luckily, the cook decided to replace sour kraut with large amounts of Sriracha sauce. YUMMY! I like this variation.
Thanks steve and dan for the introduction!

Burma Superstar!
I am sure everyone knows this place. If you don’t, you are missing out. My favorite dish there is the Catfish Chowder. It’s got rice noodles, ground catfish, onions, cilantro, and lemons. They give you the lemons on the side, so make sure you squeeze some lemon juice in there. The lemons gives it that extra hmph that leaves your mouth drooling for more.

Fresh cucumber marinated in soy sauce and fresh garlic. This dish is great on a hot summer day.

These are the hand made dumplings. For those that don’t know, these dumplings are special because the wrapper is hand made. Usually hand made dumplings taste much better because the wrapper is softer and more fluffy when you bite into it.
If you want hand made dumplings, either come to my house or go to Kingdom of Dumpling =).

Heard of chinese onion pancake? Well these are stuffed with beef! Just how its picture, the outside is a nice crispy texture. When you bite into it, you are overwhelmed with flavor.
I got this dish at Kingdom of Dumpling in San Francisco. They are a restuarant that can only fit 17-28 people max. They are known for their hand made dumplings (pictures of dumplings will soon follow). You can also buy the hand made dumplings raw and frozen so you can bring them home and enjoy it over a nice movie.
